Instead of one day of presentations from CiSCO experts, we are hosting two days to accommodate outside vendors including a guest speaker from the EPA! COVID-19 Policy Update
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, CiSCO has made changes to its operating and visitors' policies. We are currently performing most interactions virtually or over the phone. Services that require in-person visits to our facility are limited to promote safety and reduce the possibility of spreading the virus.
All visitors to the building are required to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test conducted within 72 hours of arrival at the CiSCO offices. Unvaccinated visitors are required to always wear a mask when inside the building and all visitors will need to complete a temperature check upon entering the facility.
Calibration Drift Tests
A new issue regarding calibration drift tests has come to our attention. Thanks to the due diligence of our Environmental Engineers, a solution has been documented. Please read the full recommendation on our Urgent Issue Alerts page.
Shelter Frames
Each of our shelters starts off in our welding shop as a basic frame. Here are a few pictures of our welding technicians working on various tasks to create a shelter skeleton.
What We're Working On
Each project in our production warehouse is unique and tailor-made for our customers. Currently we are working on a shelter with custom siding, a shelter with a storage room and a roll-up garage door, a cabinet, an analyzer rack, and a free-standing rack. As a reminder, as of June 30, 2021, CeDAR 4 and earlier versions of CeDAR will no longer be supported.
What “no longer be supported” means for you: No modifications to CeDAR logic for screens, reports, alarms, new permits, or bugs for sites running CeDAR 4; no troubleshooting of CeDAR 4 issues (communication, alarms, exceedances, data editing/purging); no support for CeDAR 4-to-CeDAR 4 computer replacements; no updated versions of breez75x on CeDAR 4 systems, meaning federal/ECMPS schema changes will not be supported. EDR service and assistance will continue for one year after end-of-life, limited exclusively to the EDR scope of supply.
Minimum system requirements for CeDAR 7: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, Intel i7 processor, 512 GB hard drive, and SQL Server 2014 or higher (Standard Edition). Runs on Windows 10, Server 2016, or Server 2019.
Annual User's Group
The 10th Annual CiSCO CEMS User's Group Meeting has been scheduled! This live, in-person event will be held September 14th, 2021, with training continuing throughout the week. Fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks; people who have not been vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks. There are no social distancing requirements for meetings.

Specialized Equipment
Although we specialize in CEMS, they are not the only systems that we can accommodate. A gas chromatograph was contracted to CiSCO by a refinery. It required customized ⅛" tubing which was shaped and installed by our specialist. Other projects have included mass spectrometers, HPACs, opacity monitors, and flow monitors. Corpus Christi Shelter Shipping
Another successful project being shipped off to its site! This 10x10x9 foot shelter holds a single sample point, full extractive, continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS).
COVID-19 Policy Update

With the introduction of multiple vaccines, CiSCO is once again updating COVID-19 policies. All visitors to the building are required to be fully vaccinated, including the two-week period following the final vaccination. Annual User's Group - Update
Due to the restrictions on hotels in Colorado and travel restrictions for most of our users we have decided to cancel the 2020 CiSCO CEMS User's Group Meeting. Based on numerous suggestions from our customers, we will work to expand and restructure this meeting to make the 2021 User's Group Meeting the biggest and best event yet.

Annual User's Group: Three Announcements
Three important announcements happened at our 2019 User's Group: the end of life for SLC PLCs; the end of life for CeDAR 4 (due to rapid changes in technology, CiSCO decided as of January 2021 to no longer support version 4 and older — over 50% of clients were already on newer versions); and the announcement of CiSCO's new CEMS Training Center.
9th Annual User's Group Recap
CiSCO hosted the 9th Annual CEMS User's Group on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Centennial, Colorado, well attended with 45 participants. Several CiSCO employees from various departments gave presentations including an update on Thermo, Teledyne & CAI analyzers; what to know when replacing heated sample lines; a panel discussion of regulatory updates; and what's new in CeDAR 7 software. The CEMS User's Group is an opportunity for sharing ideas, learning what's happening at CiSCO, putting a face to a name, and getting your questions answered.
